Allan Rott, DVM

Allan has been practicing veterinary medicine for the past 33 years. After attending Iowa State University, he began his career caring for animals. He prides himself in educating clients on the best possible pet care. He enjoys it when clients tell him that their pets can’t wait to come in the door to see the staff and himself! Outside of the practice, you can find Allan enjoying the outdoors.

Dr. Kubitz, Veterinarian

Sidney, our DVM, has been practicing veterinary medicine since July 2019. She values pets as family members and loves treating them like family. Outside of the practice, she enjoys traveling, camping, reading, and binge-watching Netflix!

Dr. Scott Hendy

Dr. Hendy received his B.S. in Veterinary Science with high honors, from the University of California Davis, where he also received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1975. Dr. Hendy was a University of California Regents Scholar, the Davis Chapter President of SAVMA as well as the recipient of the Pfizer Award.

Dr. Hendy was recognized as the Veterinarian of the Year in Oregon in 2001 and received OVMA’s highest honor, the Meritorious Service Award, in 2009 for lifetime achievement and contributions to the veterinarian profession and the community.

Dr. Hendy is also active in the North Roseburg Rotary Club and on the Board for Wildlife Safari. In the past, he has served on the Board of Saving Grace, YMCA, United Way, and Douglas County Humane Society. He was recognized by the Chamber of Commerce as Roseburg’s Male First Citizen for 2013.

Dr. Hendy is married to Sandra, who was also recognized as Roseburg’s Female First Citizen for 2015. Dry Hendy and Sandra have two grown children and three granddaughters. Dr. Hendy’s free time is spent fishing, playing racquetball, riding horses, and raising cattle.

Margaret, Operations Manager

Margaret is our Operations Manager for Parkway Animal Hospital. She prides herself in her ability to get to know her clients and patients by name and remember every pet that comes through the door. She also has a great relationship with our staff and doctors and cares deeply for her team. In her free time, Margaret enjoys tuna fishing, cooking, baking, listening to music, and spending time with her family!

Whitney, Tech Assistant

Whitney, our tech assistant, is currently in school at Ashworth to further her career in veterinary medicine. She takes pride in being able to apply what she’s learned to her patients such as blood draws and catheter placing. Outside of school and work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Traeann, Vet Assistant

Traeann has been practicing veterinary medicine for the past 4 and a half years. She prides herself in the care that she gives her patients and clients. In her free time, she loves reading all kinds of books! She also enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Quen.

Jess has been working in veterinary medicine for 6 and a half years. She prides herself in the care that she gives to every patient that comes in the door. In her free time, she loves reading and spending time with her horse, dogs, and significant other.

LeeAnn, Vet Assistant

LeeAnn has been practicing in VetMed for the past 2 years. She prides herself in the way that she cares for her patients as if they were her own. LeeAnn makes sure that all patients are comfortable and have a clean place to stay when they board with us. Outside of the practice, LeeAnn loves to be outside hiking, hunting, and spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to try new restaurants and food in the Roseburg area!

Hanna, Receptionist

Hanna is one of our new receptionists since September 2022! She takes pride in knowing that she can help a client leave our clinic with a smile on their face. Since moving to Oregon, Hanna has found a love for hiking on top of her favorite free time activities such as baking, cooking, reading, and painting.

Cassie, Receptionist

Cassie has always wanted to work with animals. In the future, her goal is to become a vet tech and work hands-on with animals. In the hospital, she takes pride in knowing that she is able to help provide care for people’s pets. In her free time, she likes to stay active and loves to be outdoors! She enjoys being around animals and the people that she cares about.

Crystal, Receptionist

Crystal takes pride in serving many animals and families in all kinds of veterinary needs and loves to work with the families throughout the process. She enjoys being able to assist when needed for large animal emergencies. Outside of the practice, Crystal runs a rescue farm where she attends to the needs of animals and training. She loves to horseback ride and do farrier work and horse training.

Sue, Receptionist

Sue loves her clients and her pets, and she has a lot of empathy towards all animals. She is a beekeeper and has three hives, and also likes to fish and go camping. She has a Great Dane, a Blue Heeler mix with three legs, and a Whippet.
