What is the AAHA?
The AAHA is the only organization that provides animal hospitals accreditation for their compliance to certain high standards. Accredited organizations are dedicated to the health, protection, and superior care of pets. The AAHA also provides programs and resources and spreads awareness to support accredited animal hospitals. This organization values excellence in all aspects of veterinary care.
What does an AAHA accreditation mean?
Animal hospitals that are accredited by the AAHA must be evaluated regularly by specialists from the AAHA. There are about 900 standards an animal hospital has to maintain to keep their accreditation! Organizations are evaluated on their cleanliness, their facility, their quality and range of services offered, and more. At Parkway Animal Hospital, we are proud of our AAHA-accreditation, as it emphasizes our love of and dedication to pets and our dedication to providing them with the best quality veterinary care possible.
